6 Days Tarangire ,Serengeti, Ngorongoro

SAFARI OVERVIEW

This is a 6-day safari itinerary, The safari will lead you to Tarangire National Park, then to Serengeti National Park, and lastly to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With this safari package you will see different animal biodiversity, explore beautiful landscapes, scenic views of birds, big trees and shrimps, birds of prey, different snakes, reptiles, and so much more.

Day 1: (Arrival)

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and meet our representative, followed by transfer to Arusha, which will be approximately 1 1-hour drive. Upon arrival at Arusha Region, you will have options to do some activities such as coffee tour, city tour, museum tour, local market tour, Accommodation will be at NJIRO LEGACY HOTEL, KIBO PALACE HOTEL, GRAND MELIA ARUSH

Day 2: (Arusha to Tarangire) 1-2 hrs.

Taking off after breakfast (0800hrs), our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon your arrival at the main gate official document for the safari will be handed out, and you will start a game drive in the park. Tarangire National Park is one of the parks with high wildlife concentration in Tanzania. It is believed to have the largest elephant concentration in the world, surrounded by large trunks of Baobab trees with trunks more than 100 feet long. The park also has a few Tree-climbing lions, leopards, and pythons who frequently hide in the branches of sausage trees and other tree species in the park to get a better view of their prey.

After the Picnic lunch, you will proceed with a spectacular game drive, then later you will head to MARERA VALLEY, BOUGAINVILLEA SAFARI LODGE, OR COUNTRY LODGE KARATU for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: (Karatu to Serengeti)

Enjoy the early morning after breakfast from the hotel and meeting with the guide, you will start with a drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area route, which is approximately 7 7-hour drive depending on traffic jams and weather conditions, followed by a half-day game drive at Serengeti National Park. The park is famous as is one of the national parks that hosts the great migration of wildebeest and one of the largest national parks in Tanzania with an area of 14,763 square km, Serengeti is a home for an abundance of wildlife and is one of the few parks where you can spot the big 5 and many carnivores together with birds of prey.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at SUENOS DE AFRICA LUXURY CAMP, SERENA SERENGETI CAMP, OR KIRURUMU UNDER CARAVAN.

DAY 4: (Serengeti)

On this day, after having a warm breakfast at 07:00h, you will be heading to the northern part of the Serengeti for a full day game drive. During this time of the year, by chance, you may come across a wide group of wildebeest proceeding with their migration cycle. In the evening, you will be driven back to SUENOS DE AFRICA LUXURY CAMP for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: (Serengeti to Ngorongoro)

After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive at Serengeti National Park, where it will be easy to spot an abundance of animals, especially predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as they prefer to hunt in the cool of dawn and dusk. Then, will head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight stay at EMBALAKAI AUTHENTIC CAMP, SERENA NGORONGORO CAMP, OR GRAND MELIA NGORONGORO.

DAY 6: (Ngorongoro to Arusha)

After an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and descend to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Ngorongoro crater is a deep volcanic crater with about 200 km, 600 km, and 300 sq km in area This caldera is a breathtaking natural wonder and it is listed as one of the 8^th Wonder of the World by UNESCO and listed as a protected area in the World Heritage Site. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, you have a good chance of spotting, The Big 5‟: i.e, Lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Within the Protected area are the villages of the Maasai, who are allowed to coexist with animals under sanction rules of the Government. Later, drive back to Arusha to depart back home or have an option to unwind on the tropical beaches of Zanzibar Island overnight stay will be at NJIRO LEGACY HOTEL, KIBO PALACE HOTEL, GRAND MELIA ARUSHA.
