Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Into the Wilderness
Your journey begins as you arrive at Arusha Airport at 9:00 AM, where our friendly Soke Safaris representative will warmly welcome you. After a brief introduction, set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem celebrated for its immense elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Experience your first thrilling game drive as you explore the park’s sprawling savannah, keeping an eye out for tree-climbing lions, leopards, and even pythons. As you follow the Tarangire River, witness a spectacular seasonal migration of zebras, wildebeests, and other herbivores seeking refuge during the dry season. After a delightful picnic lunch amidst the wildlife, continue your adventure, encountering giraffes, ostriches, and flamingos. As the sun sets, journey to Karatu’s lush highlands, where you’ll unwind with dinner and a night’s rest at Marera Valley Lodge, Kankari Lodge, or Baghayo Garden Suites.
Day 2: Serengeti – The Adventure Begins
After an early breakfast, embark on a journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park via the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a half-day game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll witness lions, elephants, and the possibility of seeing the great wildebeest migration. As the day ends, settle into your luxury tented camp – Kontiki Camp, Suenos de Africa Luxury Camp, or Kirurumu Under Caravan Camp – and relax under the African sky.
Day 3: Serengeti Safari – Immersed in the Wild
Spend an exhilarating full day in the Serengeti, guided by expert safari guides to prime locations teeming with wildlife. Witness the majesty of the Big Five and iconic predators like cheetahs and leopards. Depending on the season, you may catch a glimpse of the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – A Natural Marvel
Begin your day with an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Explore the diverse ecosystem that harbors over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village to experience their unique culture and learn how they coexist with wildlife. Return to Kerama Silent Lodge, Njiro Legacy Hotel, or Kibo Palace in Arusha for your final night.
Day 6: Departure – Farewell to Tanzania
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy some time exploring Arusha or shopping for souvenirs before your transfer to the airport. Bid farewell to Tanzania, leaving with memories of its natural wonders and remarkable wildlife, knowing that this was the adventure of a lifetime.
