Day 1: Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
Your journey begins early with a 6:00 AM hotel pick-up in Zanzibar, followed by an 8:00 AM flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 AM, meet your professional safari guide for a short briefing before heading to Tarangire National Park, a 1.5-hour scenic drive away. This park is famous for its majestic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. A packed picnic lunch will be served in the heart of the park, offering a chance to relax and take in the stunning views. After lunch, continue your afternoon game drive, following the Tarangire River, where many animals gather to drink. Later, drive to Karatu, where you’ll check in at your selected lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Zanzibar
Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arriving at the crater rim by 7:30 AM, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. The crater is also teeming with wildebeests, zebras, hippos, warthogs aka Kasongo / Pumba and flamingos, making for an exciting game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Afterward, ascend back to the crater rim and return to Arusha, arriving by 4:00 PM. You’ll then be transferred to the airport for your 4:30 PM flight back to Zanzibar. Upon landing at 6:30 PM, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel, marking the end of your incredible safari.
