Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari
This trip lets you visit some of Tanzania’s famous northern safari parks without having to drive long distances between each park. This itinerary is ideal for a family with young children.

Day 1: Arrival (53km)
As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Soke Safari guide greets you with a big smile: ‘Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!’ The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere. Upon arrival at Arusha Region, you will have options to do some activities such as a coffee tour, city tour, museum tour, and local market tour at your arrangement, Accommodation will be at KIBO PALACE HOTEL or similar.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti (383km)
Pick up from your hotel at 08:00 AM and head to Serengeti National Park. You will pass through lush green uplands. The soil, being very fertile, supports crops like wheat, corn, coffee, etc. The name “Serengeti” originates from the Masai word “Siringitu” and means “endless plains”. You will witness why the Local people gave this name as the Savannah lands stretch till the horizon, giving a sense of never-ending. On arrival and after lunch, we head out for an afternoon game drive till sunset, spotting the game like Zebra, Wildebeest, Lion, Giraffe, Elephants, Hippos, etc
Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
DAY 3: Serengeti
Either you can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for game drives around 9:00 AM with an already packed lunch, or you can leave at 6:00 AM for an early morning game drive. Later return for breakfast and freshen up for a bit, and depart to Central Serengeti with a packed lunch. As you make your way into the Seronera region, you will begin to notice the hilly and broken terrain altering into plain grasslands. In Seronera, one must look out for the many lion prides that live in this region. The connections and endurance of this lion pride provide an excellent game viewing experience all year round. A picnic lunch will be made during the day-long drive itself.
The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation
DAY 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro (228km)
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and is regarded as the 8th wonder of the world. It is one of the most diverse and fascinating areas of Tanzania and has been given the status of a World Heritage site and International Biosphere Reserve. The fertile slopes and steep forest-covered walls are home to approximately 30,000 animals, including the rare black rhino. The various ecosystems found within the 260 sq km crater floor sustain Cape buffalo, elephants, wildebeest, zebras, elands, gazelles, hippos, numerous bird species as well as a high concentration of predators.
The eventful day ends with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.
DAY 5: Ngorongoro to Arusha (154.6km)
After breakfast, around 07:00 AM, head to Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival, you shall descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The entire conservation area is home to more than 25,000 animals
The Ngorongoro landscape is truly breathtaking, with the sun glittering off Lake Magadi, the sheer size of the Caldera, and the shadows of cloud dappling the Caldera Floor
The safari at Ngorongoro Crater will last for approximately 5 hrs and during which you shall spot animals like Lion, Zebra, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Cheetah, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Flamingos, Hippos, and much more. By afternoon, we stop for a late lunch on the crater floor, and post which, with a head full of amazing memories, you’ll return to Arusha.
