OVERVIEW:

This is a Day safari to the most beautiful park in Arusha Tarangire National Park. With this package you will see different wild animals, explore beautiful landscapes, scenic view of birds, big trees and shrimps, birds of prey and so much more.

Tarangire National Park (1-2hr drive)

Early in the morning after breakfast(0800hr) our guide will pick you up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon your arrival at the main gate official document for the safari will be handed out and you will start a game drive in the park. Tarangire National Park is one of the parks with high wildlife concentration in Tanzania. It is believed to have the largest elephant concentration in the world surrounded with large trunks of Baobab tree with more than 100 feet circumference. the park also has few Tree-climbing lions, leopards and pythons who frequently hide in the branches of sausage trees and other tree species in the park to get better view of their preys.

You will also visit Tarangire River which flows through the park being the only water source during dry season for thousands of migrating animals such as Zebras, elands, wildebeest, impalas, giraffes, gazelles, ostriches, flamingoes and elephants Also, it has more breeding species of birds worldwide.  Later on, you will have lunch at a picnic site nearby (Silale picnic site) (1300hr)

After a refreshing lunch break you will proceed with an afternoon game drive and spot more wildlife and scenic view of the park and so much more. While you’re in the park you can opt to walk through the dense forest part of the park with an escort from a park ranger or a balloon safari at an additional cost with pre-planned arrangements.

Once the game drive is done your will checkout and transfer back to Arusha, marking the end of this lovely day tour.
