Itinerary

Morning: After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Lake Duluti, a stunning volcanic crater lake surrounded by lush forests. The drive takes about 20 minutes, offering a glimpse of the local scenery.

Canoeing Adventure: Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a 1.5-hour canoe ride across the calm lake waters. The peaceful environment provides the perfect chance to observe birdlife such as Giant kingfishers, Fish eagles, and Darters. The tranquil surroundings create an ideal setting for relaxation and exploration.

Wildlife Spotting: While canoeing, keep your eyes peeled for reptiles like lizards and snakes that inhabit the surrounding forest. You may also spot hundreds of cattle egrets as they return to an island in the lake to roost for the night.

Optional Hike: If you’re looking to explore more, take a hike through Duluti Forest. It’s a great way to experience the area’s flora and fauna, adding a bit of adventure to your day.

Afternoon: After the canoe ride and hike, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel in Arusha, where your adventure ends.
